Anyone tried Orchestral Tools FFOSSO?

I must say I’m extremely impressed. To the point I might even pay for the pro subscription…..and I never do subs. The content quality is superb… the “engines” :eyes:

Just noodling presets, but I feel exploring the modular options available here could result in disappearing down an epic rabbit hole.

Interesting, thanks for sharing that. The only free orchestra I knew they had was the Berlin Free Orchestra (which is itself pretty impressive).

Its not an orchestra, but more akin to Labs, Piano Book, Vaults, NI play box etc.. It’s an Orchestral Tools side project with it’s own website and sign-up.

They add instruments weekly made from all kinds of real instruments and synths, textures, nature, voices etc.. and there are different engines used like layers, sequencers and auto chords. A very nice effects section. It’s truly vast. Then there’s a whole modular feature beyond the presets where you can take any instruments you have in your library (from ffosso…though I think a future feature would allow to use your own sounds) and create chains and route things all over the place.

Not a shill, and I hope the the good folks at Crowhill don’t mind me posting this, but i would highly recommend checking it out. You get 6 instruments on the free plan.
