I was wondering what the specificity was on the MIDI for the competition? Do I send all of the MIDI files, or merge them into one file? I use ableton so I am not entirely sure how to distinguish each line of music in one file.

@christianhenson and @Simon-Admin discussed this on CYHMN 2026-07-08 at about 1h19m - the summary being that if your DAW doesn’t support the generation of a one part-per-track MIDI file (type 1), submitting multiple MIDI files (one per instrument/patch) is fine.
There are other options (to use another DAW to merge the parts into a single type 1 MIDI file) but given that multiple files are acceptable, it’s probably simplest to do that.
