I’m in a bunch of Discord communities however I don’t really chat in them much… basically I’m about as active in them as I am here (which is not very but I occasionally pop in) buut if you want a couple I go for Spitfire’s LABS discord server (I’m actually more active in there if you can believe that) and the discord server for content creator Mattia Chiappa (it is a bit quieter tho). Both are pretty good places
When I actually started out I never really joined any communities, just showed a friend (who is my composing mentor) my tracks and got feedback and grew from there (granted because I’m a lover of Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman… my style is some weird combo of the two lol… his words were that my style is way more fleshed out than his.) but if I wasn’t so socially anxious those 2 would be my personal recommendations ^^
