Sziasztok ![]()
Some of you might remember Randomixer, a small tool I posted earlier that simply picked a few random Vaults libraries. It was fun for discovery, but I started wondering if it could become something a bit more musical.
So Randomixer has now evolved into CueForge.
CueForge builds a quick three-layer scoring idea using Crow Hill Vaults instruments:
β’ Foundation β harmonic bed / atmosphere
β’ Motion β pulse, rhythm or movement
β’ Colour β melody or character layer
Press Generate Cue and three slot-style reels spin to suggest a combination. Itβs basically a tiny cue starter for when you open a session and want a fresh palette.
I also added a few cue styles (Ambient, Drama, Action, Hybrid, or Other) that gently steer the generator toward different moods while still keeping the element of surprise.
CueForge will grow naturally as new libraries appear. When Crow Hill releases another instrument, I add it and it instantly becomes part of the generator.
Itβs a small experiment, but already a fun way to explore the character of the Vaults collection and stumble on combinations you might not normally try.
Curious to hear if anyone here finds it useful β or has ideas for how it could evolve along with the Vaults. It is another release in the Composer App series so it will always be free to use.
Try it ut at Cue Forge .
