Kespi - Forget about scripting, focus on creating sample libraries

Hey guys, I’ve been working on a project of mine for quite some time now and would love to know your thoughts on it. It’s called Kespi, and here’s what it does in short: it lets you create Kontakt sample libraries within a minute with fully fledged functions like an ADSR, LFO, evo grid, etc., without ever touching a single line of script.

I think this could help a lot of composers who don’t have the time to learn a scripting language but would love to create a sample library out of all their found sounds. If you have any thoughts or feedback, please feel free to drop them in the comments. Cheers!

I don’t have full version of kontakt, so I can’t test it, but idea sounds good. Two questions:

  1. Can you import custom graphics?

  2. How difficult it would be to create similar tool for decent sampler?

The Decent sampler version is coming out soon! Will keep you updated on that. And yes custom graphics are also coming out tmr!

Thanks! Kespi has 2 reasons to be called this way, first of all the code language of kontakt (KSP), and secondly i want it to give it a more grounded easy to use tool aesthetic to the name, i found that the e and i placed between made it sound a bit more child like without making it sound dumb or immature, more like an easy to use tool. Hope this makes sense heheh

Yes, soundbox is my favorite with the MPE controller support…

Its so powerful! Koda sampler is the next one, and after that comes soundbox!
