Marshall Brass Problems!

I use Nuendo for composing to picture and Reason 11 Suite for my songs. Having recently purchased Marshall Brass, I am eager to incorporate it into my productions. Everything works fine in Nuendo; however, every time I render audio out of Reason, Marshall Brass is the only VST that has dropouts, especially when Timbre & Expression automation are used. I have never had any problems with any other of the vast VSTs or VST3s I use in Reason. Hopefully, someone can shed some light on this issue or even test it in Reason if you use it.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

Just realised - it’s not just Marshall Brass - Small String Gestures also does not render out without faults from within Reason. Like I said above - I have never had any problems with any other of the vast VSTs or VST3s I use in Reason.
With no support on here - that looks like the end of any further purchase from Crowhill from me - :-1:

Hi Curtis, sorry to hear your troubled experience, I recently purchased Marshal Brass & Glass Strings and so far, I haven’t noticed any dropouts or anomalies while using Reason 13, not really sure what it might be, but I hope you’re able to sort it soon. If I find anything useful, I’ll come back to you. All the best, Paul.

Cheers Paul, yes it does seem strange - I have even just increased my RAM to 96GB
I am going to upgrade my graphics card this weekend - as I notice the Marshall Brass Gui text wavers a bit in operation (expression / timbre) other than that I am stumped. How’s R13 going for you? I have R12 - but have not upgraded as I find R11 suite to run perfectly for my needs (except with Crowhill products lol) ps it’s only the rendering or bouncing of Crowhill audio that produces the problems, actual playback within Reason is fine.

you might wanna check any hard drives you have, i had an old hard drive that started acting up and my plug ins for some weird reason started getting stuck, i unplugged that hard drive and everything started working smoothly, turns out the drive might be dying and it was messing up with my whole computer

All SSD drives working fine - all of my VSTs working fine (just crowhill content when rendering to audio) maybe some bug / conflict between Reason 11 suite & Crowhill? will try and see if upgrading my graphics card this weekend solves anything :crossed_fingers:

I started last year with R12 (half price offer), built a new PC as a good DAW system (and a reasonable gaming system) which I run on 2 screens; I like to see all 3 panels (rack, sequencer, mixer) fairly large as eyesight isn’t as good as it used to be  and took the R13 upgrade for 60% off. I’m still trying to establish a good workflow as i’m good with technology and a reasonable guitar & keybd player . . but getting my ideas into the daw as a polished composition is gonna take some time, sooo much to learn! I’ll see if I can render/bounce something using marshal b & report back! Wishing you all the best, Curtis :musical_keyboard:

I would appreciate hearing your results,…thanks Paul

Unfortunately I must concede Marshal - Brass + Small String Gestures will never perfectly render out within the Reason 11 suite. My PC worked flawlessly before adding additional RAM and a better graphics card, the only persistent issue remains when using my CrowHill products.

I also discovered that all the CrowHill GUI’s dials / sliders etc can be modified using the mouse wheel scrolling which is displeasing.

Here’s hoping for improvements in future updates, especially regarding the GUI appearance. The more I examine Marshal Brass, the more amateurish and flawed the GUI appears. Over and out!
