I can deffinately hear that this was inspired by Clair De Lune. I think I half accidentally used couple same chords from that piece too .

What great effort and thoughtful approaches! Nice work by all!
Shame there aren’t more of the 70 or so entries on the posts here as well, would be great to listen to more and maybe the runners up and what made them stand out etc.

Totally agree! I feel it should be a requirement of the rules to upload to the Crow Hill Network!

Yes, perhaps it should be in the rules to upload here… Drives engagement and communication, I’ve been a bit shy of that so I understand both sides of the equation- but here was mine FWIW: https://youtu.be/cXuPno50-u0?si=Q2BJjQYefaMVBncA

I did’n’t see video in your link, but this point I almost remember it from start to end . Your take was quite dark, some parts could fit even to horror film. What instruments did you use, there were some wery nice sounds?

Thanks, yes some horror ish sounds, I guess I took a nod to the more atonal-aleatoric-avant-garde side of Satie and other french composers but still trying to be impressionistic… The instruments were Toska by Noon Instruments for the synths and quite a lot of Splice-fyre or whatever they’re called nowdays  Haushka piano waves, LCO Violas- Staccato Digs, Bernard Herrmann Studio Orchestra Longs…

Hello everyone,

I’m lucky enough to have been selected as a runner-up. Here is my entry.

Congratulations to everyone, as I know this one really took some effort!

Hey Eleri - I was just browsing through the cuetube unscored films and there’s a free one, “The Lost Piano”, which I believe was a Westwood competition a while ago - I thought of you and how you said you approached this project here, and I’d love to hear what you might make of it. I think it would really suit your sound, if it were something that grabbed you as a fun side project one time when you found you had some time?
