I like it Ed.You’ve got a kind of bangra vibe going on here. It maybe a creative departure for you to compose the track but only by experimenting out of our norm can we develop. Well done buddy.

Here is a song I composed a couple of years ago. There are violin and cello parts that accompany the piece. But this recording is only the piano and it’s titled the “Tranquility of Blue”.

Very cool Ed, really liked the different sounds going and the build up toward the end! It gave me some Orbital vibes at times.

I recently bought Dystropia from Heavyocity and wanted to make something with it. No Crow Hill libraries used this time but only libraries from Heavyocity

Well done Vishen, your track has most definitely got that powerful Heavyocity signature stamp to it :+1:. Your composition evoked suspense and mystery and most definitely gave me a sense of some sort of sci-fi alien encounter. Your use of the guitars really worked well with the pulse of the melody. It seems like their are some amazing sound effects in Dystropia and you have made a creative use of its sound design capabilities.

Thanks Michael! The guitars are indeed from Damage Guitars 2.

I’m really liking Dystropia, it’s very industrial in it’s sound but there are some very otherworldly pad sounds that are great to just have play out. Definitely a nice accompaniment to Oblivion, Machina and Gravity 2.

Yeah I’ve got some Heavyocity plugins myself and they are pure class.

Absolutely sir! I’m a big fan of their products.

If you wanna see the whole competition video version check out youtube :slightly_smiling_face: in my profile.

The Mighty Achilles - (imagined) end scenes music of a movie set in ancient Troy

Hi Guys

I guess this is my fourth composition with an orchestration, and probably my most ambitious to date (so a relative newbie to this arena).

The music is for an (imagined) end of movie, set in Troy.

After the death of Achilles, the mourners gather to march in procession to the temple, where the Priestesses perform the funereal rites; his spirit then descends into the underworld where he traverses the River Styx and comes to eternal rest in the Fields of Elysium.

@thecrowhillcompany - Vaults Bodhrán features in the first half of the piece and big thanks to Marshal Brass for creating the beautiful tone of the second half from around 2.08

Thanks for listening.

As always, feedback and constructive criticism is very welcome and appreciated.

Excellent work Vishen! Would make a great theme track for a Scandi-Noir style drama or perhaps sci-fi computer game. I hope some film producer catches on to it….

A very good track matt which has strong a driving string rhythm which is accompanied by a just as powerful brass section with underlying drums and vocal harmony. And of course you know I love the sound of the cello. Well done buddy. I was wondering where you had disappeared to and now I understand why. Well done :+1:

Well done Lee you have masterfully created a soundtrack that begins with a light greco-macedonian feel to the initial melody. What makes it most impressive is the melodic gradual increase of its epic proportion especially first from the 2:08 min mark and again second from 2:57 min mark. Great job in trying to emotionally explain the scenario which is befitting of being a film soundtrack.:+1:

Michael - WOW !

I think I should frame those comments :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Huge thanks for listening, and for your comments !
