let me know what you guys would LOVE directors and producers to know about music and audio because either you’re just extremely tired of explaining it every time OR it’s just a constant barrier that needs dealing with on every project that if directors and producers would know just this tiny bit about music/audio our lives would be 2938957629348 times better?

If I write a draft track example for a specific project, they say they want something else (so I do that) then two years later I hear my draft in promotional material for the director’s upcoming project, they shouldn’t be confused why I’m asking them to take it down or pay me to do a “full” version for the new project.
Second: Leitmotifs aren’t just jingles. If my brief is to anchor a musical theme to a character, please communicate that to whoever is editing.
And Furthermore: Don’t send me Suno generated material to base the score around. If you want it to sound like suno just use suno. A temp track is one thing but OMG WTF.
