Issue (AU only, not VST): In Ableton, recording mod wheel data causes playback to log continuous “Timbre Change” events in the undo history. This fills the undo stack, breaks Ctrl+Z, and makes drawing other MIDI CC envelopes impossible (host keeps jumping back to the Timbre lane). The same problem occurs with String Murmurations, Small String Gestures, and Tina. VST versions are unaffected.
Oh I thought that was just me! I posted about it on another thread. Pocket strings in my case… I know that Eleri made a beautifully feelingful piece for the pocket strings challenge a while back so I thought I must have been doing something wrong? things got a bit glitchy after ten or so tracks and it was a short deadline so I made a track with a different feel (with a generous squirt of primula?!
) and drew in a couple of volume changes only… would love to hear if you find a fix
it’s a brilliant library, very grateful crow hill!
thank you!
Just to add, I use Logic, in this case just the simple “new project” generic template
HI Ross, thanks for your comment
Loving these plugins too! The solution for me is to simply use the VST and not the AU. Any disadvantage to that? Cheers!
Brilliant! Thanks, I hadn’t thought of trying that!
hope you enjoy the community
I noticed the same problem as well! I didn’t try the VST versions so thank you!
HI Sorry, I was mistaken I’m getting the same problem with the VST versions too ![]()
Hopefully something can be done as it’s quite frustrating
Cheers
Alex
I don’t think these forums are monitored by TCHC support; your best bet is likely to be to raise a support ticket.
