Hi all - just a quick check-in before I dive too deep into a new sound design idea.
I’m exploring ways to bring some of the incredible Pianobook sample packs samples into Audiomodern Soundbox - not as a direct Kontakt/DecentSampler port, but as new playable presets using its unique multi-layer/round robin sequencing engine.
The end goal is to create a small free Soundbox preset pack (including some of my own sequencing-based instruments), and offer it back to the community - either here or through the Crow Hill network.
I just wanted to check whether this aligns with the spirit of the community. Full credit will, of course, be given to the original samplists, and no samples will be resold or misused. That said, due to Soundbox’s unique limitations, I may need to make some minor tweaks or create alternate versions based on the original sample packs.
Thanks in advance - would love to know if anyone else is exploring unusual sampler formats too.
