I recently discovered something that has been available for a while which would have saved me so much time had I bothered to look for it.
I wonder if this would be a good topic to start for anyone to share any time saving tips for any aspect of music or production.
Those “I wish I’d known that before!” moments..
I recently had one of those moments, in downloading “Sonobus” which lets me immediately stream from my DAW straight to any device connected to my network, even if it’s anywhere else in the world.
And it’s FREE!!
I knew these existed, I even had something installed before, but for some reason let it slip.
Now I don’t have to constantly bounce down stuff in multiple takes just to test the mixing and sound engineering on different consumer devices. I could have saved hours!
The only reason I bothered to look it up was because Facebook tried to shill me some BS app that does basically the same thing for an outrageous monthly subscription.
Anyone else got any similar stories of discoveries that made them slap their forehead like Homer Simpson and go “DOH!” ?
