Hi Leigh! Sorry I have not responded to this sooner but have been having to deal with various non-music matters that have swallowed all my free time for past 3 weeks. In listening to this I am astonished at how much more weight and character the piece has picked up since you guys each added your musical visions to it. Your addition Leigh has added a layer of slight menace/disturbance that really gives the piece some “welly”. I feel like I have thrown a small snowball down the mountain and it has now become an avalanche! The addition of the piano at the start makes me picture a scenario with a person trapped in a large and empty schoolroom, looking out of the window and longing to be out in the sunshine. The later use of the ascending and wavering strings gives the hint of some inner turmoil or chaos. It’s all very evocative! Thank you so much for working on this with us. Grand job sir! :smiley:

Hi Michael - As it is a joint effort I think each should have an input on the name if they want, but for my choice it would be something along the theme of chains or connections. Given the emotional character the piece has now taken on with Leigh’s input, I feel that some sort of struggle or breaking-free has been described and maybe the name should reflect that? I’ll give that some more thought… :slight_smile: It might change again depending on what catsandsound may do next :smiley:

When we are agreed it is finished, I will try to create a video for it too.
