Many thanks for these Michael, all downloaded, double checked against what I had from previous updates. But; just to double check though, I have six stems from you all together to add to what everyone else has done? (so 14 stems total so far?)

Oh actually just realised, two of the stems might not have uploaded right, or been corrupted? It’s the ones labelled:

Round Robin 1 - Pocket Strings - Long - Bridge Section.

And also: Round Robin 1 - Pocket Strings - Short - Bridge Section_1.

But I have the listening file you put up too so will go by that for now

My apologies Leigh, I made a mistake by uploading those two faulty Round Robin 1 - Pocket Strings - Bridge Section stem parts to my Google drive folder so please don’t use them. I’ve also just deleted them from my Google drive folder. So, just to recap, there should only be four stem parts from me buddy, ok, and I think you’ve already got them downloaded and working. If there are anymore problems please let me know, ok. Take your time Leigh and go for it buddy.

Stems (extended to match): Updated Stems - CH Chain composing Round Robin – Google Drive

I used Vaults Attic Grand, and also Vaults Orchestral FX.

Looking forward to hearing what some Concussion can do to this :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: assuming that’s still the plan!

Let me know if any issues with the download etc.!

Leigh well done your hard work is very much appreciated. I think you’ve pulled a rabbit out a hat considering that you were the fifth person in the chain. Your choice of instrumentation was also excellent. As you may have realised the later you get in the chain the harder it is to add something that works well with all of the previous compositions and I think you really put some melodic thought into your effort. Well done once again buddy.

Well done Mark, Michael and Leigh on your additions, it really has come to life as a whole. Awesome stuff, I’m proud of us and I can’t wait to see how Cats adds to it with the perc.

Yeah I totally agree with you Vishen. I take my hat off to you all, Alistair, Vishen, Mark and Leigh for participating and for all of your hard effort. I’ve never taken part in anything like this especially with people that I don’t know. This could have been a mish mash but I’m really happy with how it is at the moment. I think everyone tried to leave enough space and freedom for each individual to put a little something into the composition while trying to stick around the 5-6 minute mark for the whole length of the composition. I don’t know if I would do anything like this again, but it was a blast. This was a learning experience for me and I will always remember it and remember you guys . I’m routing for Catsandsound to put the icing on the cake.

Alistair since you were the original instigator of this whole chain composing experiment, I think its only proper that you might want to think about giving the composition a title once it is completed, ok unless one of the other guys wants to give it a title.

Thanks Mark  glad you liked it as I was a little uneasy about how much I put onto the track.. And your part was the one where I felt most uneasy about how to do it without ā€œscribbling all over itā€ so to speak :joy: side chaining helped!

Yeah I agree Vishen :smiling_face_with_sunglasses: everyone’s done very cool stuff and it was very thought provoking to try and find something to sit around the really unique stuff everyone has already done on it.

Thanks Michael! It was hard at first to find something and as I say I was a bit worried about how it would come across so I’m glad it seemed to work out! And yes definitely gets a bit harder later in the chain but a great challenge. Loved your use of dulcet voice too it has a very captivating sound that one.

Your part definitely brought it all together by adding to the whole track

Hi Michael - many apologies for my slowness to respond. I have had little to no time to concentrate on music matters these last 2-3 weeks. I love your use of Dot Allison and the sul tasto string sounds towards the end. Thank you so much for making time to contribute to the experiment. Well done indeed!
