Introduce yourself

Hey everyone! Welcome to the Crow Hill Network forum!

This topic is for introducing ourselves to the network. I’ll start:

Michael the Crow Hill crow here. I live at CH HQ and keep a beady eye on the team. The things I could tell you…

Ach, they’re not a bad bunch and they’ve asked me to help watch over the forum. Keeps me out of trouble, I suppose.

Here are some ‘fascinating’ facts about crows:

It’s all true, especially the bits about crows having bigger brains than humans and holding grudges. Don’t mess with the crow!

Cheerie!

Well this is exciting. My dream for TCHC was always to make it about people, a network so this is a big part of the jigsaw. I look forward to surrendering time wasted on social media to hang here instead!

Hello CH fam! I’ve been following Christian for some time, and greatly appreciate the team’s innovative approach to sound and production. The clean and efficient approach to variations on sample libraries and VSTs are very refreshing.

I’m a lifelong musician and artist that releases under the pseudonym ARKIMIDIZ and/or Chris Simpson Music. www.arkimidiz.com

Hey all! Glad to be here with you. I’m Pascal, from Quebec, Canada. I am a guitarist dwelling in rock and post-rock, and a composer wannabe. Can’t wait to chat with you all. Cheers :beers:

So lovely to see you all… I’ve got some exciting stuff coming up for this discourse… some super exclusive ops!

Big dream of mine is creating an environment that isn’t like other (acheeewww! VI-Control eeeew!) environments like this.

Well, well, well… I’m so glad to be able to tell this Team how wonderful you all are!.. I’m a veteran composer who cut my teeth cutting 1/4" tape, etc., but over the past couple years I’ve been delving into the arena of writing more for film and tv with a number of great collaborators. Have always loved and supported the products you’ve created and was devastated when you disappeared for awhile… now I see why… love the approach you’ve taken to put composers and people first as you create brilliant products. That is a needed and successful way to go in an industry where we are usually the lowest rung in the pecking order. I only write to ENCOURAGE you all as you slowly change this industry from the inside out-ward. Blessings on all of you… Klender

Hi, I’m Nick. I have worked since the 90s as “Transfer Injection Burn” and a few other pseudonyms. I have a hybrid studio in the French Alps, have been in Scotland since the “lockdoons” and have spent that time inventing a trippy music box… looking forward to showing what it can do.
here is a video from last summer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IMKvKXHoXT8&t=180s
