Hi, I am David aka neoconfessional. I have a confession to make, it has taken me about half an hour to work out how to make a post
Hi all, Brian here. I am a composer and mix/master engineer from the US.
Hello. Not used to joining groups, but I’ll give this a go. My working title is Wyshwood and I have composed many tunes for a game called Clive N Wrench. Currently undertaking another similar project as well as composing for sheer pleasure. I’ve been a long term fan of Christian’s work. I really liked the score for Black Death, and of course the Number 9 stuff. Any how, I hope all of that is appropriate, that I’m not breaking some rule or other. Looking forward to the content.
Hey everyone. Music hobbyist , originally from the UK but now living in San Diego. Long time hardware synth person and over the last few years been moving into more ‘in the box’ production. Loving the accessibility of the CH plugins for those of us who are ‘not pro’ in the industry but still seek to raise our creative output.
Hello from San Antonio, Texas! Longtime follower and admirer of Christian. Primarily library and corporate communications music. Software architect by trade, composer by desire. Looking forward to this!
Hello. Scott here. Based in US, near Chicago. Have been enjoying watching Crow Hill grow and the products and community focus. Looking forward to getting to know everyone.
Hey all,
Nice to be here! I’m from Sweden and I release my music under the name What After This?
Hiya all, Shane here from Alaska. Happy to be here. Love what TCHC is doing.
Hi,
I‘m Martin from Guildford in the UK, I’m an enthusiastic amateur and lover of music.
I go by the name of lfo2vco when using social media (because I’m funny that way!).
I regularly attend the Modular Café meetings in Aldershot, which provides the opportunity for like minded synthesizer enthusiasts to meet socially, to exchange ideas, practices, and collaborate.
Thanks for the invite, I hope I can contribute something useful from time to time.
Hello, been loving the Vaults collection. Great stuff.
Hey everyone! Randy here, “TeleTubby” elsewhere, and currently in St Louis, USA. Recently retired, and now taking up the job of draining my brain of the music that’s been locked inside.
Hi I’m Jeff. I have been writing songs as a hobby for around 30 years, currently under the guise of Piczel Spydr. There is just something magical about writing music; it both inspires and consumes me - the words, the melodies, the emotions…
Hello Crow Hill people one & all!
Hey All, I’m David - producer, writer & engineer. Cut my teeth and tape in recording studios in the 90s - mad enough not to look back and kept going as a producer in the biz. Great to be here and BIG Thanks Christian for this forum!
HI All. Phil Moore here. I wear many hats (filmmaker, author…) but musically I write and produce Prog albums under the band name GuffNasm, as well as Musical Theatre and film scores (usually for my own films). Am based in Sydney, Australia. Would be keen to meet others in the area; and looking forward to see how this Discourse forum develops.
Hi, I’m Steve. My pretentious artist name is Sonus Lucis (Latin for Sound of Light approximately). I’ve been dabbling in music for too many years, even worked in a music shop for a stint a long time ago but never gave it the time it deserved. I’ve been familiar with Christian and his work for ages and lurked here and there.
In the last year or so, I’ve been getting serious about learning music theory and a month ago, started to self-teach myself Piano. It’s a slog but I’m determined to get to a reasonably proficient level and to one day, write stuff properly.
I really love the Crow Hill ethos and I hope to be able to contribute somehow. Happy to be here.
Hi, Martin here. I am really looking forward to finding collaborators, making fantastic music and streaming my efforts for charity. Love the Crow Hill Company!
Hi everyone, I’m Isaac; a part time music producer, audio tech, and podcast editor from the Midwestern USA. I’m excited to see where this thing goes, thanks for the invitation.
Cool bananas! I’m Giles, essentially I like wires. I’m a broadcast engineer (think TV, radio, networks & computers) by profession, with a lifelong interest in music as a side passion. I get my geek on with music tech, sample libraries (I own far too many) and music theory. Every now and then I manage to release a track on YT. I play piano and electric bass, neither especially well.
I love what I’ve seen (and heard) so far from Crow Hill - It’s great to be here!
Hi all-
Just wanted to introduce myself. I have been a fan of Christian’s since his Spitfire days, and love everything Crow Hill is doing so far!
I got bitten by the music production bug rather late in life (I’m 53), and still consider myself a beginner but am excited to see where the journey takes me.
I am a fan of Eurorack, and hardware based synths and effects, and FM synthesis holds a special place in my heart for some reason . It is kind of a personal obsession between learning the underlying mechanics and what I consider the great sounds it can produce. I would guess some of this comes from growing up as a child of the 80s.
I am also still learning the DAW aspect of production with a focus on Ableton and Bitwig, although I love a lot of what FL Studio is doing these days.
In terms of the types of genres I am interested in producing, my focus is synthwave, dreampunk, and ambient.
Anyways, I hope to learn a lot here and make some friends (and music!) along the way!
