I’m Stuart, a long-time dabbler and procrastinator. I also suffer from massive imposter syndrome, but am slowly coming to realise that just about everyone does.
I’m a totally crap pianist, so have been focussing on ACTUALLY PRACTISING for the last couple of months and feel like I’m making some progress, which is rather pleasing.
I find the whole Crow Hill vibe hugely inspiring and motivating - the generosity of all involved, sharing their time and expertise, is just wonderful. I am learning so much.
Hello everyone
Good to Be here! I record and release music as Flagfarm. It’s my solo project, which is based upon a combination of electronic And reel instruments. Sometimes even the real voice.
Music is a passion for me. Couldn’t live without it in my life.
Style is in between ambient and punk ( probably more in spirit than sound), with a touch of other incompatible musical genres
i’ve been so lucky, That Crowhill has released instruments as I needed them. It’s been quite a journey since I started my latest album, Working with the instruments and finding their spot in my recordings.
Hello! MY from halfway across the world (Singapore). Looking forward to interacting with everyone and geeking out here!
I would consider myself a serious hobbyist. I have been in a creative rut for years now, and have only started to feel optimistic about composing new music post-pandemic. Hopefully we can all inspire ourselves and one another through the fun yet intuitive stuff that Crow Hill releases.
String Murmurations - most inspiring!
The Vertical Piano - most versatile!
I have been in the media music production industry (music/audio for video games/TV, movie/Drama, etc) since 2015 and met Christian Henson twice at the Spitfire Audio events in Tokyo.
I have bought a lot of SA products since 2015 but have felt something going different in recent SA products since Henson’s leave.
When I found String Murmurations, I bought it immediately and felt this was the real SA spirit. So glad we finally got Henson back!
Hello! I’m Eleri from the Isle of Man (this is a real place!) - originally from South Africa.
Really chuffed to be amongst such wonderful composers/artists and looking forward to whatever is in store for us all here - Thanks, @christianhenson and team at TCHC!
Hi there,
Greetings from Korea!
I’m a musician based in Seoul, Korea. What I do is mostly TV stuff, but I am always open to anything.
It’s great to meet you all and I hope we can have a good time here.
Cheers!
SO GREAT TO HAVE EVERYONE HERE. I’ve got some very special stuff to share here, including some awesome footage for everyone to work with if they want to polish their chops.
(oh so its [shift]>[return] for a new paragraph)
We’ve also got some amazing news to share and the development of that I don’t want to hide from you all. Want you all to be part of it!
I’m sure its gonna take a while for us to work out how to get the best from this but in the meantime have fun!
Loving everything the Crowhill Company is doing! Paul here, software geek by profession and very amateur musician and producer by passion! Made my first album with some young people last year Cloud Surfing and have recently been using many Crowhill things here: Moments … and liking them a lot!
Hi everyone, I’m Jamie, from the east of England. I write mainly hybrid orchestral stuff (recent pieces on my website, jamiesheldrick.com), and I’m looking forward to being part of this new forum!
Hello everyone!
Oh what a lovely place this is already!
Thank you @christianhenson and the team for setting this up.
I’m Andrea, and I’m a storyteller like most of the people here. I compose, act, direct and produce as well. I’m from Croatia but I live in Malta atm, but am very often in London.
Hoping we could get together more often for some nerd talk
Hi
I’m universally known as IanMcL13 because few people can spell or be bothered to learn the full complicated spelling.
I’m delighted to be here and will more than likely let you know when a new piece of music emerges - I tend towards music for film, tv, and theatre. I also like Oxford commas.
Hello Crow Hill Fam! I’m Kent Wheeless based in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. I’ve had the blessing to have scored a number of films and have found myself on a growth spurt which is exciting. I love scoring for horror as I’m a bit of a lunatic when it comes to sound design and scoring in that genre lol. I have the privilege of recording and collaborating with Alice Allen on my projects. TOTAL BADASS. I’m very excited and honored to have been invited to the discourse and I’m looking forward to getting to know everyone here! Excited to see this grow!!
Hello Crow Hill! This is Zachary Greer here from New Brunswick, Canada. This is great, thank you for the invite. I love everything Crow Hill is doing. Small String gestures is wicked, immediately made its way into one of my projects. Looking forward to seeing where this goes. Composers need more of this!!
