Please don’t feel intimidated Sam because you’re in good company here. I watched and listened to your album on Youtube. It was very creative. Well done

Really good Ed, I loved the low bass in this track which enhanced the spacial awareness of the theme. Well done.
That was incredibly generous of you, my friend. Thank you!
You’re welcome Sam. Stay creative.
You need to be a weather presenter as well as a composer Ed. Get your brolley, hat and microphone out of the closet. ![]()
This is my entry for the W. A. Production & Venus Theory Producer Contest. We were tasked with writing a 1:15-1:30 pitch demo/theme for a fictional action/sci-fi game.
Pitch:
RITUS SATURNUS - A sci-fi action game
For hundreds of thousands of years, the human race has been covertly domesticated and manipulated by their own invisible inter-dimensional parasites.
Now comes the time to fight back…
Crow Hill Instruments/FX Used:
Snakes of Russia Venom, Piano Rack FX
I also used Christian’s giant Colossus synth “Dave” in the outro section in the form of the Spitfire Audio “Aperture: The Stack” Library

@sam_fonseca you are absolutely in the right community. There are some very helpful people here. It is definitely a talented community, but you also fit into that bracket, well done on your novel! Any kind of visual art is where I am super lacking and have a high respect for the patience it takes, whatever you do, keep it up!
Brilliant. The graphic novel series is a horror adventure, but the human creative process is a key focus in the plot. I hope it sheds some light on things for people, especially in this dismal “AI art” BS landscape.
Thank you all for the warm welcome -I really appreciate it!
Hi folks, here is a simple melody titled ’ There Is Danger There Yonder’ that I created only using the following Crowhill plugins below;
Dot Allison - Dulcet Voice, Vaults Glass Beaker, Glass Strings, Small String Gestures,
Origins - Crystal Pianos, Prehistoric Strings, Pocket Strings, Origins - Gong Pianos, Cello Motors,
and Vaults - Wavering Choir. I hope you enjoy it.
I agree, this composition could use a violin/fiddle. (as a former “forced” violinist
…If I was going to play a string instrument, I wanted to play Cello…but my father forced me and my twin sister to play violin as an homage to him (a violinist) and also as our only extra-curricular activity outside of school…”You’re not playing the f–in cello, I’m not picking you up from soccer practice, your playing the f–in violin.”)
Really I wanted an MPC…
If you can’t get a live instrument, Ink Audio and Somerville (Jon Meyer) Sounds have good virtual instruments that would fit right in with this folk/country vibe.
My younger brother plays in a folk band btw…
I make trap/drill music and occasionally masquerade as a composer. ![]()
Hey everyone,
Going back to my main project, I recently heard back from a critic saying my stuff is nearly there, but seemed to rise and stay at the same point. I am trying to rearrange my track and its fitting more in the post-rock category. Let me know your thoughts!
Amazing sound and compositions. Congrats!
I love this, dude - the composition and production sound so good to me!
You’re very kind, my friend. Thank you very much|
You’re just determined to have me break my chair while dancing, Noah! I really enjoyed that and anybody who can get their ‘drummer’ to play snare ruffs and drags between the beats of a two handed hi-hat pattern is OK with me! Seriously, I like the arrangement and the production on this plus that oh so subtle swing. Well done, mate.
Love it, Michael, especially the initial rhythmic theme that stops at about 1:10… but I need more, mate, it finishes too quickly for me. Thanks for sharing as ever.![]()
Thanks for your feed back Stephen
Hey everyone! Been a while, kinda busy with life and projects
In the last few weeks i did a little remake to serve as a breather between other projects and for fun.
Nothing astonishing, but, if you want to remember good times while playing the first Call of Duty : Black ops - zombie - it’s that piano theme ‘Damned’ but…upgraded a bit
tried to keep the original vibe though.
I did the piano part like two years ago, then decided now that it was time to complete it.
Hope you like it, cheers!!
-not much of crowhill sounds in it unfortunately, just a bit of Storm cello patches.
MAGNA CARTA - LORD OF THE AGES
New here, hope I’m doing this right. I wanted to share a personal project I produced in 2020, recreating a 1973 “prog-folk” epic (10min) song (Lord of the Ages by Magna Carta) with remote musicians across 3 countries (names below). The song has 3 movements and outstanding lyrics that caught this hippie’s attention immediately nearly 50 years ago. Still as relevant today as when Magna Carta released it…
Lord of the ages rode one night
Out through the gateways of time
Astride a great charger
In a cloak of white samite
He flew on the air
Like a storm
Dark was the night
For he gathered the stars in his hand
To light a path through the sky
While the hooves of his charger
Made comets of fire
Bewitching all eyes
Beheld them
